On board

"mast, rope and a sail...thats what a ship needs. But what a ship really is. What the Black Pearl really is....is freedom" -pirates of the caribbean #1

Now substitute the Explorer for the Black Pearl and you have my new opinion on life. There is a certain sense of freedom that occurs when standing on the bow and having the wind blow on you face and the waves break below your feet. Freedom to cross oceans, freedom to think, freedom to have peace within yourself. For the first time since I can remember, I am waking up in the morning and remembering my dreams. For the first time since I was a kid I am not thinking about college. I am not thinking about boys. I am not thinking about chocolate. I'm just living in the present. And thats what freedom really is; freedom not to worry but just to live.

  2. Bea, it sound like you were born to cruise! Love that you are living in the present. Reminds me of a little saying:

    Remember...TIME waits for no one.
    Yesterday is history.
    Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift...that is why it is called the present.

    Love you!

  3. Good one Bea -- you're REALLY paying attention... ;-) Did you say the name of this course is Enlightenment 101?
We're thinking of you all from very rainy Seattle.
